Dave Rogers is a four-term State Representative and Chair of the House Committee on Cannabis Policy, with a proven record of getting housing legislation across the finish line.
He played a lead role in passing the Affordable Homes Act, the largest housing investment in Massachusetts history, and strongly supported the MBTA Communities Act to bring more housing near transit. He also created the state's Access to Counsel program for tenants facing eviction and established the Office of Fair Housing.
Recently, Dave has backed the House's economic development bill to streamline permitting and encourage commercial-to-residential conversions, and supports key elements of the YIMBY bill, including reforms to outdated parking mandates and minimum lot sizes.
